What is Escape Routes?

A new TV show on NBC at 8/7c on Saturdays that sends six teams on a nationwide collaborative competition, each in an all-new 2013 Ford Escape. The teams work with their fans to conquer various challenges and tasks in order to win prizes around every turn. The teams play to win the ultimate reward of $100,000 and their very own 2013 Ford Escape.

How Can I Participate?

First, sign up on EscapeRoutes.com. Then, pick a team you’d like to join. Next, help your team decipher clues and puzzles in weekly and daily challenges, through live-streaming video of your drivers. Win various games, rack up enough points and badges, and both you and your drivers could take the grand prize, a 2013 Ford Escape.

When Can I Watch Escape Routes on NBC?

The first episode of the show airs on March 31st and the finale is on May 5th at 8/7c. After every episode on EscapeRoutes.com, followers can tune in to watch Escape Routes After Dark with the drivers and our digital host, iJustine. Tweet questions with #escaperoutes to iJustine and maybe you’ll see your question answered live on EscapeRoutes.com.

How do I Subscribe to Alerts from Escape Routes?

Challenges

There are several types of challenges, with different life spans:

Always on Challenges: A new set of these challenges will become available at the start of every week. These challenges do not expire and can be revisited throughout the lifespan of the program.

Interactive Challenges: These challenges happen twice a week – once in the loft and once in the 2013 Ford Escape. Both challenges involve the drivers and you, the at-home follower.

Flash Challenges: These challenges are short and timely. Flash challenges happen at random times, so check back often.

User Generated Content: Every week iJustine, will challenge you to submit content on EscapeRoutes.com. Participate and win a prize for the best submission.

Game Show: Compete against other at-home followers every Sunday starting April 1st in an interactive game show hosted by iJustine.

How do I participate in Interactive challenges?

Live from the Loft: You’ll get the opportunity to watch your teams perform tasks live from the loft on the Livestreams page. After the challenge is over, you can vote for the team that did the best. The winning team will be announced on live broadcast, so get your votes before the episode airs on Saturdays at 8/7c.

Live from the Escape: You’ll get the opportunity to collaborate live with your team to help them complete these challenges. They will involve a series of tasks for you, the at-home follower, to perform in order for the team to progress through the challenge. These are challenges where follower loyalty is imperative- it’s a sink or swim.

Can I go back and complete past challenges to earn points?

Yes and no. You can come back to complete Always On challenges whenever you wish. But, be careful, because if you fail a challenge your chance at earning those points is gone. Forgiveness is not our strong suit.

Interactive and Flash Challenges do have specific time constraints and you will only be able to participate within the specified time period.

What do I win by participating in challenges?

You win points, which can also help you accumulate badges. And, the more points and badges you have, the higher the level you can get to. The higher your level, the more chance you have of winning one of our many prizes.

How many points do I earn by participating in the challenges?

The number of points you earn varies depending on the type of challenge.

How can I sign up for challenge alerts?

Points & Levels

What are points?

Points indicate your level of participation on EscapeRoutes.com. Points are also part of levels. Therefore, the more points you earn, the higher the level you are able to reach.

How do I earn points?

There are lots of ways to earn points. You could earn points for just stopping by, completing challenges, or recruiting friends and much more. There’s tons of stuff to do on our site, so get cracking and get your numbers up!

What are levels and how do they work? What happens when you go up a level?

When you register you start at Level 1 – Newbie. The more you play, the more points you collect and the more badges you earn. To get to a new level, you must earn a certain number of points and attain specific badges. Every time you go up a level, you increase your chances of winning one of our many prizes.

Badges are symbols of your achievements on EscapeRoutes.com. They also affect levels, as specific badges are required to advance into the next level.

How do I get a badge and what are all the different badges available?

There are lots of ways to get badges. Below is a list of all the badges you can earn with a few hidden badges for you to unlock and discover.

Prizes

How do I win a prize?

You win a prize if your name is drawn during one of the prize drawings that take place over the course of the competition. Some of these drawings have participation requirements, whereas others simply require you to be registered. Your chances of winning a prize are directly related to the level you have reached on EscapeRoutes.com. See program rules for more information.

What can I win?

Anything from a T-shirt to a brand new 2013 Ford Escape.

When are the prize drawings?
